The AEA Megalodon MK2 is the refined successor to the popular MK1 model. It features a 12-round magazine and a reliable pump-action system for fast and smooth operation. In the F-version, output is legally limited to under 7.5 joules.
Upgrades & Features
The MK2 introduces major technical improvements. It comes with a powerful 7000 PSI (480 bar) dual tank system including regulator and stock, as well as an additional 300 bar tank. Two durable 12-round metal magazines are included. The redesigned front tank improves air consistency, ensuring more stable shot performance. A high-performance extended suppressor, partially surrounding the barrel, enhances balance while reducing noise.
Export Kit & Legal Notes
The included export kit consists of a modified valve card with a larger bore and an alternative tube insert for the rear tank. Ownership is legal in Germany, but installation requires proper authorization. After conversion and depending on legal regulations, significantly higher power levels can be achieved. A setup video is available via QR code. The F-version is additionally secured with a breakaway screw.
System & Operation
The MK2 uses two air cylinders. The rear tank (300 or 480 bar), integrated into the stock, can be changed even while pressurized. The front tank acts as a plenum, ensuring consistent shot output.
Note: Due to the size of the 12-round magazine, a Picatinny riser may be required when using certain optics.
