The bags are unfilled so you can fill them exactly according to your personal preferences. Popular filling materials include sand, rice, cork, and plastic pellets (ironing beads).
- Sand offers excellent firmness and maximum stability. A potential downside is its weight, especially if you need to transport the shooting bags frequently. In addition, sand can absorb moisture, making it even heavier. The increased weight can put extra strain on the seams.
- With materials such as cork and rice, it should be noted that they are sensitive to moisture. However, for indoor use only, they are a great and slightly lighter alternative to sand.
- Plastic pellets (ironing beads) are resistant to moisture and very stable, though their price is usually higher compared to the other materials.

Nicht nur für das Schießen, sondern auch für Wartungs-/Pflegearbeiten
….eignen sich diese Schießsäcke was die Füllung angeht, so habe ich mich für Gummigranulat (ähnl. Boxsackfüllung) entschieden; das Gewicht ist OK, das Material ist feuchtigkeitsresistent und rieselt nicht heraus, es ist kein Lebensmittel und preislich im Rahmen

Toller Schiesssack!
Der Schiessack ist gut verarbeitet und hat eine große Auflagefläche. Zum Füllen hab ich rund 40.000 Bügelperlen verwendet (knapp 50 Euro), weil die nicht so schwer wie Sand und nicht feuchtigkeitsanfällig wie Reis oder Kork sind.
